FEMFEST 2017

MARCH 19th, 2017

Minotaur Theatre Company present, ‘FemFest 2017’, an evening celebrating feminism and how far society has grown in terms of women’s rights, whilst most importantly pointing out how far we still have to go to achieve equality of the sexes. Through the mediums of theatre, poetry, music and burlesque, FemFest 2017 is a night dedicated to voicing the feminist issues women and men face on a day-to-day basis. Performed in the beautiful Norwich Puppet Theatre, FemFest 2017 is headlined by ‘Gender Trouble’, an original play by Ella Thompson, that explores the toxicity of gender roles in both modern society and theatre itself.
