ACODO and The Elimu Foundation

£1,600
Three nights of Musicals and Dancing makes up Cabaret 2013. We'll be stopping off at Avenue Q on our way to Pride Rock to bring you all the best the West End and Broadway have to offer.
Since 2008 ACODO (Assisting Cambodian Orphans and the Disabled Organization) has been operating as an orphanage in Siem Reap, Cambodia. They are an audited, non-governmental, non-political, non-profit organization and an officially registered charity with The Royal Cambodian Government. Today their orphanage provides shelter, nutritious food, healthcare, high-quality educational opportunities and, above all a loving home for 25 children who come from backgrounds of extreme poverty and deprivation. It really is a special place, one of hope, aspiration and kindness.
The Elimu Foundation evolved from a two-year project started by Joanne Dwyer in 2008 to establish a link between Kipriria Academy in Nandi Hills, Kenya, and The Priory School in south-east London. After the success of this initial project links with other schools in Kenya and the UK have been set-up, and to facilitate, international school partnerships links with the aim of raising aspirations and cultural awareness and understanding.
